Gophers' upset Huskies in 2-game series victory

I spent saturday night in St. Cloud at the National Hockey Center watching the Gophers take St. Cloud. With less than two minutes remaining in the game, the Gophers got the game winning goal, bringing the score to 3-2.
While Minnesota fans weren't as easy to pick out in the crowd, the roar from them at the end of the game made it clear many of them made the trip into Husky territory.

Gophers unlucky against Fighting Irish

Last night's game at Mariucci Arena was one of the more exciting games I've shot in  a while. With a few minutes left on the clock in the third period, I found myself wishing I could include audio with my images! The normally half-empty and somber arena was louder than ever after the Gophers brought hte score from 1-4 to 3-4 within 30 seconds.
