Bats finish strong in doubleheader

The River Bats played three nights straight at Joe Faber Field. Last night being a double header against the Brainerd Area Lakes Lunkers. The Lunkers took the first game 2-1, but the Bats came out strong at the start of game two. They were able to push through and come out of the second game on top, 4-3.

Dogs chase the Bats back to the cave

The Rivers Bats hosted the Mankato Moon Dogs at Joe Faber Field Tuesday night. The Bats started out strong, but eventually lost 8-1.
River Bats' outfielder Andy Henkemeyer (15) runs to first but is marked out with the catch of Moon Dogs' first baseman, Zak Wasserman (48) at the bottom of the fifth inning.

River Bats stay in the cave for the night

Tuesday night's River Bats VS Lunkers game was postponed to end of July due to rain. Instead of sitting around before the twice-delayed start time, many of the Bats played around on the infield. Others felt it better to stay out of the rain.

River Bats season in full swing

The St. Cloud River Bats hosted the Brainerd Lunkers Wednesday night at Joe Faber Field. Even with the drastic change in temperatures, fans were still came out to support their local minor league baseball
team. The Bats came up short, losing 4-0 to the Lunkers. Read the full story here.
